Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

Base pay range $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr Responsibilities Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Register sales on assigned cash register, provide courteous, fair, friendly checkout service. Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy practice, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and processing prescriptions. Engage customers, resolve issues, and ensure a positive experience. Recommend items and promote trade‑ups. Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and compliance with company policies. Handle prescription errors, reports, and pharmacy code of conduct. Process manual claims, telephone calls, and other clerical duties. Support inventory management and maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment. Assist with photo area services and pick‑up responsibilities. Adhere to state and local law for regulated products. Participate in any special assignments as directed. Training & Personal Development Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated program. Attend training, complete PPLs, and maintain knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy regulations. Basic Qualifications Fluent reading, writing, and speaking in English. Willingness to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications At least six months experience in a retail environment. Prior experience with Walgreens. Mathematical skills for accurate prescription filling. Computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory control. PTCB certification.
