To thrive as the Preschool Site Director at Children's Choice, you will need a diverse skill set that will elevate your leadership to new heights. Your ability to meet California Code of Regulations (CCR) Title 5 qualifications for Child Care Site Supervisor is essential, demonstrating your commitment to excellence in child care. Experience with DRDP assessments will be beneficial as you track and support the growth and development of each child in our care.

Knowledge of CCR Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 1 regulations is crucial to ensure compliance and uphold safety standards. With current certifications in Pediatric CPR, First Aid, and Mandated Reporter training, you will lead with confidence in emergency situations. Your proficiency in MS Office applications, tech-savviness, and impeccable organization skills will set the stage for success in this dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications, knowledge and skills required for the position are :

• Child Development Site Supervisor Permit a must
• Experience as Site Director for Preschool serving ages infants to 13 years.
• Professional, confident, and outgoing personality.
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Experience with DRDP assessments
• Fluent in CCR Title 22 and Title 5 Division 12 Chapter 1 Child Care Center General Licensing rules and regulations.
• Current Certificates: Pediatric CPR and First Aid, Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment Training
• Clear DSS Background check
• Proficient in Microsoft, MS Office suite applications and comfortable using technology (computers, tablets, various phone apps)
• Organized and detail oriented, able to prioritize
• Attend (1-3) monthly trainings/ staff meetings after hours
• Love for animals and/or gardening
