Lead Packaging DesignerFoth is currently seeking a team-focused, innovative, and results-oriented Lead Packaging Designer who is looking for new learning experiences, opportunities for career growth, and a desire to contribute to our clients' success. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and support the design and integration of packaging systems for industrial clients, primarily within the food and beverage industry. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the United States, with a preference for candidates who can work from our Green Bay, WI office.Primary Responsibilities:Support engineers in the design and integration of packaging systems for industrial applications, primarily within the food and beverage industryConduct field information gathering activitiesDevelop and update 2D and 3D CAD layouts for packaging systems and equipment integrationDesign packaging system components in accordance with equipment specifications and project requirementsCreate and maintain engineering drawing packages and associated documentationCoordinate drawing management activities and collaborate directly with clientsWork collaboratively with designers and engineers across multiple disciplinesCoordinate, delegate, and oversee the design efforts of team members and contract resources as neededProvide mentorship and technical guidance within the packaging systems disciplineSupport equipment installations, startup activities, and field troubleshooting effortsAssist engineers with equipment specifications, installation scopes of work, and technical decision-makingManage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining effective communication, organization, and attention to detailTravel to client sites approximately 10-20% annuallyRequired Qualifications:Associate's degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent combination of education and experienceMinimum 7 years of CAD design experienceExperience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience with conveyor layout designProficiency using 2D and 3D CAD software for equipment integration and system designDemonstrated experience supporting the design, fabrication, or integration of industrial equipment and systemsPreferred Qualifications:Experience designing packaging systems within the food and beverage industryExperience using Autodesk ReCap, Navisworks, or similar software for 3D data registration and visualization10+ years of CAD design experiencePrevious experience supporting capital projects from design through startup and commissioning$110,000 - $130,000 a year The base compensation listed for this job posting reflects a general range for the posted position. Base compensation will vary based on factors such as: years of experience, location, level of responsibility and licenses/certifications. In addition to base compensation, Foth members may be eligible to receive bonuses through our Earned Performance Incentive program. All employees are eligible for On-the-Spot bonuses. Exempt members are also eligible for either quarterly and/or annual bonuses.
