We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Water Mitigation Technician to join our team and lead the response to water, flood, fire, and mold-related restoration projects. Duties

• Asbestos abatement supervisor
• Lead and coordinate water damage restoration, flood mitigation, mold remediation, and fire restoration projects from start to finish.
• Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, and debris removal using specialized equipment and hand tools.
• Conduct mold assessments and asbestos abatement procedures following strict safety protocols.
• Operate company vehicles safely to transport equipment and personnel to job sites.
• Implement safety procedures including respiratory protection, personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to industry standards.
• Manage on-call coverage for emergency response situations, ensuring rapid deployment when disaster strikes.
• Utilize Xactimate software for accurate damage assessment estimates and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members to ensure clear understanding of project scope and progress.
• Supervise and mentor technicians, fostering a safe work environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Maintain detailed documentation of job activities, safety incidents, and project progress in compliance with company policies.

Skills

• Experience leading asbestos abatement projects.
• Proven experience in water damage restoration, flood restoration, mold remediation, fire restoration, or related fields within the restoration industry.
• Strong emergency response readiness with the ability to act swiftly under pressure.
• Construction experience is highly desirable for understanding building structures during mitigation processes.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients during stressful situations.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, Xactimate software, and other restoration tools.
• Knowledge of safety protocols including respiratory protection and proper PPE use to ensure personal safety on every job site.
• Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and adhere to all safety regulations.
• Familiarity with asbestos abatement procedures and mold remediation techniques is a plus.
• Flexibility to provide on-call coverage for emergency mitigation services outside of regular working hours.
