HousekeeperReports To: Asst. Head Housekeeper / Head HousekeeperEssential Duties and Responsibilities includes the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs:Cleans guest rooms in accordance with established company, brand or hotel standards to allow a sufficient quantity of vacant and clean rooms.Responds to the needs of guests and coworkers in a friendly, positive manner.Within guidelines established by the hotel or management company, maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards for the property.Responsible for carrying out special requests from guests in a timely manner, such as extra towels, replacing faulty equipment, etc.Work with the hotel maintenance staff to ensure guestrooms are functional and good working orderRequirements:Clean hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms and other work areasStrip linens from guest roomsAbide by the regulations set forth by the material safety data sheets when using chemicalsVacuum, sweep, dust, and clean rooms to hotel standardsRefurnish the room with supplies, towels etc.Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm mannerQualifications:High school diploma or GED preferredPrevious housekeeping experience is a plus but is not required.
