Toyota of El Cajon is currently seeking a Finance Assistant to join our team. This position will assist in processing approved finance transactions and expediting finance department documentation to the business office. We Offer: Excellent Culture Advancement opportunities Medical, Dental, and Vision Plan Company-paid Life Insurance 401(k) savings plan with matching program Paid Vacation Major Essential Duties: Processing financing and leasing deals and ensuring accuracy while adhering to all local, state, and federal guidelines Securing the expeditious funding of all contracts Verifying customer insurance Calling Lenders for automotive pay-offs Contacting customers for stipulations Following up with Lenders on needed DMV documents (lien releases, titles, etc.) Collecting on NSF checks Enter Due Bills Inputting deal information into databases using Excel and Word Verify flats, fees, and claims on deals Managing deferred payments Other tasks as needed QualificationsQualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Understanding and able to comply with federal, state and local regulations that affect the new and used vehicle and finance departments. Automotive business office or finance experience preferred. Attention to detail Strong communication skills in order to work with customers, employees, and F&I vendors, as representatives of the dealership. Must be willing to understand and adhere to compliance regulations – (NPI) Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information and to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
