Overview Job Title: Entry-Level Accountant A reputable accounting firm in Washington is seeking an Entry-Level Accountant to join our team. This position is ideal for recent graduates or individuals looking to start their career in accounting. As an Entry-Level Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and gaining hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities Assist with preparing financial statements and reports Process accounts payable and receivable transactions Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies Communicate effectively with team members and clients Participate in training programs to develop accounting skills Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or related field (recent graduates welcome) Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures is a plus Salary Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month, with opportunities for growth based on performance.
