Assistant Project Manager Location: Kennesaw, GA Schedule: Monday-Friday | On-Site Travel: None Required Rocket Electric is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our growing commercial operations team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes initiative, and enjoys keeping projects organized from start to finish. As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with our Project Manager to help coordinate commercial electrical projects, support daily operations, and ensure our customers receive timely and accurate communication throughout the life of each project. Responsibilities Assist Project Manager with day-to-day project coordination Perform data entry and maintain accurate project documentation Coordinate work orders, job scopes, and schedules with field technicians Provide project updates and reports to customers Track project progress and help ensure deadlines are met Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal team members Support multiple projects while maintaining a high level of organization and accuracy Qualifications Strong organizational and coordination skills Exceptional attention to detail Proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and solve problems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word); experience with project management software is a plus Bachelor’s degree preferred Previous construction or commercial project coordination experience is preferred but not required Work Environment Our team supports commercial electrical projects across multiple markets. While this position follows a standard Monday-Friday schedule, project needs may occasionally require availability outside of normal business hours to support customers and field operations.
