Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Demand Planner to lead end-to-end demand planning and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) for our North America Diagnostics business. This strategic role partners across Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning to deliver accurate demand forecasts, optimize inventory, improve customer service levels, and support profitable growth.
The ideal candidate is a collaborative supply chain leader with deep expertise in demand planning, forecasting, analytics, and S&OP within the Life Sciences, Medical Device, Diagnostics, Biotech, or Healthcare industries.
Key Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly Demand Review and S&OP Demand Sign-Off process, ensuring alignment across all business functions.
• Develop and maintain statistical forecasts, demand sensing models, consensus forecasts, and scenario planning.
• Drive improvements in forecast accuracy, forecast bias, and overall planning performance using data-driven insights.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Supply Planning to align demand with business and financial objectives.
• Identify demand risks and opportunities and develop mitigation strategies to support business continuity.
• Support new product introductions, product lifecycle planning, and seasonal demand planning.
• Deliver executive-level reporting, analytics, and business insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Optimize inventory while balancing customer service, working capital, manufacturing capacity, and supply constraints.
• Collaborate with regional and global supply chain teams to ensure alignment with operational and financial plans.
• Lead planning process improvements, ERP/planning system enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning, S&OP, or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Experience within Life Sciences, Medical Devices, Diagnostics, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical, or Healthcare industries.
• Proven success leading cross-functional S&OP and demand planning processes.
• Strong knowledge of:

• Experience with ERP and planning platforms such as SAP IBP, SAP APO, Kinaxis RapidResponse, Oracle, Blue Yonder, or similar .
• Advanced analytical skills with strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.
• Excellent communication, executive presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing complex portfolios of diagnostic instruments, reagents, consumables, or other regulated healthcare products.
• Experience leading planning transformation or digital supply chain initiatives.
• APICS/ASCM CPIM or CSCP certification is a plus.
• Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
