Sheltering Arms is currently seeking a full-time Patient Access Representative to join our team. This position will provide coverage at our Sheltering Arms Institute location in Henrico, Va.
Compensation
- $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
- This range reflects our commitment to pay equity and market-competitive compensation.
- Final compensation depends on experience, skills, and internal equity.

Responsibilities
- Answering and routing phone calls to appropriate areas.
- Greeting, screening, and directing patients.
- Patient check-in and registration.
- Scheduling therapy appointments.
- Collecting copays.
- Working with clinical and clerical staff to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
Successful candidates will possess
- Strong customer service skills required.
- Prior experience in a health care setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of insurance benefits is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and accept feedback.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
