About the Role

The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Business Development in Working Capital. The successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting, qualifying, and closing new accounts, with a focus on acquiring and cultivating new business opportunities. This role requires the ability to analyze market research data, effectively present financial products, and meet or exceed sales targets. The Managing Director will also be tasked with establishing and maintaining a network of referral sources, staying up to date on competitors, and contributing to the company's overall production and reputation. Collaboration with other departments to maximize customer growth and retention is essential, as is the ability to negotiate and maximize profitability on all new business. Applicants for the Managing Director position should have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience, with at least 8 years' experience in commercial finance, including structured financing, working capital, equipment financing, or insurance premium financing. The role demands a detail-oriented, customer service-minded individual who is highly motivated, results-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills, a demonstrated record of success in solutions-based sales, and the ability to work well under pressure are essential. Experience with high call volume, particularly cold calling, is a plus. The ideal candidate will be adept at multitasking, staying organized, and have a strong understanding of financial and accounting concepts.
