Job Description

As a Security Officer Hospital Spanish Fluency Patrol in Los Angeles, CA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, agile, and innovative Allied Universal team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management in accordance with site-specific policies, directing individuals to appropriate locations when needed.
• Document incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and communicate pertinent information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish.
• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
