Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' social, emotional, and environmental contexts to identify their needs and challenges.

• Develop and implement individualized service plans that outline achievable goals, tailored interventions, and ongoing progress evaluation.

• Provide empathetic counseling and psychotherapy to individuals and families facing issues such as mental health concerns, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

• Engage clients in collaborative discussions to ensure they are actively involved in creating their service pathways, connecting them with appropriate community resources.

• Offer crisis intervention and risk assessment services to ensure client safety and welfare.

• Facilitate productive collaboration with community agencies and organizations, advocating for the needs and rights of our clients.

• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives to promote agency services and raise awareness about prevalent social issues.

• Attend case conferences and training sessions to foster professional development and enhance team collaboration.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our services cater to a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health crises, domestic violence, substance use issues, and economic hardship. As an LCSW at our hospice center, you will uniquely address the emotional and social needs of clients facing end-of-life issues, providing critical support to both clients and their families during sensitive times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Nevada.

• Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of trauma-informed care principles, and the socio-economic factors influencing client situations.

• Exceptional communication skills, with an emphasis on cultural competence and sensitivity.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to effectively address client concerns and barriers.

Compensation and Benefits\n
