Daytime Maintenance Specialist (First Shift)

Daytime Maintenance
To perform skilled general maintenance and repairs normally associated with the school district's physical plants.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to read and follow directions
- Ability to follow oral directions
- Ability to perform assigned daily duties with a minimum of direction
- Ability to respond to provided training and maintain training
- Ability to communicate clearly - written and verbally
- Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials used in general maintenance and construction work and the ability to use them
- Ability to operate a variety of mechanical equipment
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with employees, District personnel, as well as the general public
- Ability to perform physical tasks under varying weather conditions
- Experience in electrical repair and maintenance
- Must be available to work overtime and assist if staff shortages should arise
