Account Executive, Surety - Houston or Dallas, TX

**About the Role** We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Executive to lead our Surety strategy and grow our client base in Houston, TX.**Key Responsibilities Include**Build and maintain effective and sustainable relationships with clients on an enterprise-wide basis; Work in the best interest of the client and the company to secure appropriate compensation for the company.Demonstrate proficiency in the sales discovery process (due diligence)Demonstrate strong knowledge of competitors to aid in company prospecting efforts Maintain knowledge of carrier underwriting appetites and contacts and recommend appropriate markets for client programsAdditional responsibilities as required**Skills & Experience That Lead to Success:**Strong technical Surety knowledgeMinimum of 4 to 8 years of industry experienceProven ability to present and clearly explain information to clientsAbility to drive strategyAbility to effectively promote American Global’s competitive differentiation in written and verbal presentations with goal of growing client base**Additional/Preferred Qualifications:** Ability to travel locally as requiredComprehensive Benefits Package 401k with above-average employer match of up to 5% of your salaryEducation and Student Loan Assistance *The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
