Sr Medical Science Liaison, Uncontrolled Gout - Rare Disease - South FL/Puerto Rico

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain relationships with medical thought leaders, academic institutions, and managed care decision makers in assigned territory
• Communicate scientific and medical information about products to the clinical and medical community
• Identify unmet customer needs and connect them with internal resources and expertise
• Evaluate and facilitate external clinical research collaborations and investigator-initiated trials
• Monitor competitive landscape for therapeutic advances and trends; report findings to senior leadership

Requirements

• Doctorate degree, or Master's degree with 3+ years medical affairs experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5+ years medical affairs experience
• Preferred: PharmD, PhD, MD, or DO credential
• 2+ years Medical Science Liaison role experience
• Exceptional written and verbal communication and networking ability
• Ability to travel up to 60% and work extended hours as needed
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new business applications
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
