- Precision Diagnostic Imaging: Expertly operates specialized cameras to detect radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring high-quality image capture and accurate patient positioning for radiologist interpretation.
- Radiopharmaceutical Oversight: Strictly adheres to protocols for the ordering, preparation, administration, and disposal of radioactive drugs while maintaining rigorous radiation safety standards.
- Quality Control & Data Integrity: Ensures 100% accuracy of patient data and image quality within PACS, utilizing correct markers and detailed clinical histories for seamless diagnostic workflows.
- Technical Troubleshooting & Safety: Monitors equipment performance and departmental safety, proactively managing malfunctions through "lock-out/tag-out" procedures and routine maintenance.
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in General Practice credentialed from the Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification Program obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- One or more of the following required:
- Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) also accepted.
- Radiologic Technologist specializing in Nuclear Medicine credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate' degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
