CASE is a 52,000-square-foot specialty and 24-hour emergency hospital purpose-built to foster collaboration across services. Here, interdisciplinary case discussions, daily hospital rounds, and spontaneous consultations are not occasional occurrences, they're part of the culture. As Medical Director, you'll lead an exceptional team of specialists while helping guide strategic growth, clinical excellence, and innovation across the hospital.

You'll join a thriving specialty team that includes Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Neurology, Medical Oncology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesia, and Rehabilitation, with continued expansion of specialty services. Through Ethos Veterinary Health, you'll also have opportunities to support research initiatives, clinical trials, mentorship programs, and collaboration across a national network of specialty hospitals.

In your day-to-day, you will:

• Lead with clinical excellence and help establish the standard of care across all specialty and emergency services.
• Partner with hospital leadership to guide strategic growth, service expansion, and long-term hospital development.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, mentorship, and professional growth throughout the organization.
• Mentor specialists, interns, and emerging leaders while supporting a robust internship program and continuing education initiatives.
• Champion innovation and help advance programs including minimally invasive procedures, interventional services, and clinical research.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts as CASE continues to grow its specialty teams.
• Maintain an active clinical caseload while balancing leadership responsibilities with dedicated administrative time.
• Collaborate closely with specialists across Surgery, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Oncology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Rehabilitation, and additional services to deliver exceptional patient care.
• Work closely with veterinarians, technicians, and support teams to provide seamless, compassionate patient care.
• Communicate clearly and empathetically with pet owners during stressful and emotional situations.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused hospital culture built on collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.

What You Bring

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for Colorado veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in a veterinary specialty or significant leadership experience within specialty and emergency practice environments.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, mentorship, and hospital leadership.
• Strong communication skills with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to exceptional patient care.
• A passion for continuous learning, team development, and advancing specialty medicine.
