Job Requirements JOB SUMMARY: Prepares, distributes and controls sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment, and instrumentation. Assists the patient care team to provide and maintain customer service focus essential for smooth operations. Work Experience MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Education & Training: High school diploma, with certification as Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST). Work Orientation & Experience:Previous experience in a Central Sterile Supply Technician position preferred. Skills & Abilities: Must be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervision, and will accept responsibility to assist in on-the-job training of new team members. Ability to: a) effectively convey verbal and written information;b) follow directions;c) respond to emergency situations appropriately;d) adapt hours of availability to variable and changing needs of the hospital, including all shifts;e) effectively function as a member of a collaborative team;f) organize and manage time effectively, setting appropriate priorities; andg) comply with The Joint Commission and OSHA standardsh) be self-directed and capable to carry out assignments with limited supervisioni) assist in on-the-job training of new team members. Benefits Full-Time Day (7am-3:30pm) Pay Range: $20.47 - $28.64/hr.
