Job Description

⚡ LIGHTING MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN WANTED

Protek Electrical is seeking an experienced and reliable Lighting Maintenance Electrician to join our team.

Position: Lighting Maintenance Electrician

Experience Required: Previous lighting maintenance experience required
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of interior and exterior lighting systems
Diagnose and repair lighting issues, including fixtures, ballasts, drivers, photocells, timers, and controls
Replace and install LED fixtures, lamps, drivers, and other lighting components
Perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial lighting systems
Work on parking lot lighting, building exterior lighting, office lighting, warehouse lighting, and emergency/exit lighting
Troubleshoot electrical circuits related to lighting systems
Ensure all work is completed safely and according to applicable electrical codes
Complete service reports and communicate findings with management and customers
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work area

Requirements

Previous lighting maintenance and electrical troubleshooting experience
Strong knowledge of LED lighting systems, drivers, ballasts, photocells, timers, and lighting controls
Ability to diagnose and repair electrical and lighting problems efficiently
Experience working with commercial lighting systems preferred
Ability to work independently and manage service calls
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and detail-oriented
Good communication and customer-service skills
