Staff Accountant at Armoured One

Overview Armoured One, LLC located in Syracuse, NY is recruiting for a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant under the direction of the Director of Finance will support day-to-day transactions and month end closing to support their glass department in compliance with accounting, finance, and business operations. This position is a full time, onsite exempt position Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Remote work is not offered. Responsibilities Review and analyze the department budget with the departments Determination of prevailing wages for accurate certified Payroll Assist with sales & use tax filings Accounts Payable reconciliation Support month end closing as needed Other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance Min Compensation USD $62,500.00/Yr. Max Compensation USD $65,000.00/Yr. Qualifications Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance. 2+ years of accounting experience preferably in construction or contracting. Strong knowledge of Prevailing wage regulations, financial reporting and accrual accounting practices. Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills. Skills and Abilities: Microsoft Office 365 Google Suite High level of integrity. Excellent mathematical skills. Clear understanding of data privacy standards.
