Tax Preparer

Job Title
Preparation of income tax returns for individuals and small businesses in an accurate and timely manner.
Completion of tax forms in accordance with policies and in compliance with legislation and regulations.
Applying tax law knowledge to clients' individual situations to minimize tax liabilities and identify applicable tax credits.
Minimum Education Required
High School diploma or GED
Minimum Experience Required
A qualified candidate should have:
- Strong math skills with keen attention to accuracy
- Basic expertise in using computer software for daily tasks, record keeping, and team communication
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- The ability to explain complicated topics in a clear and concise manner
- An analytical mind ready to grow and adapt with the ever-changing tax landscape
- A proactive approach to completing tasks and projects in a fast-paced work environment
