Your ability to translate real-world needs into technical specifications makes you an integral part of delivering a customer-focused engineering solution.As a technical baseline systems engineer on our team, you'll work with Booz Allen colleagues and DoW clients to analyze, architect, engineer, integrate, test, and deploy the next generation of resilient Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Tactical Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (TISR) systems. You'll develop, integrate, and manage Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and Models-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) products. You'll provide technical advice to senior program managers and executives on space system and segment design, and test issues to inform major program decisions. You'll perform systems engineering and program management functions in support of design reviews, technical evaluations, and requirements verification. You'll analyze problems, develop technical reports, make recommendations, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions.Join us. The world can’t wait.You Have:4+ years of experience working on large-scale systems engineering, integration, and development programs2+ years of experience performing and leading a team in the development and management of technical specifications, ICDs, concepts of operations (CONOPS), architectural designs, and integration and test plansExperience leading requirements and interface management efforts for a major programExperience coordinating and presenting technical changes across large stakeholder groups through review boards, including configuration control or engineering reviewExperience using Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and WordKnowledge of systems engineering standards, including IEEE 15288.1 and IEEE 15288.2Secret clearance Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CSNice If You Have:Experience performing systems engineering, integration, and testing on space-based remote sensing systems, including SBIRS, Next Gen OPIR, FORGE, WSF-M, or EWSExperience with satellite Command and Control (C2) architecture and developmentExperience using MBSE approaches to manage system definitions and technical baselinesExperience creating and managing Jira tickets or Confluence pagesExperience with SysML, Enterprise Architect, CAMEO, or DOORS NextGenKnowledge of DoD 5000.01 and 5000.02Knowledge of Agile methodologiesTS/SCI clearance Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or CSINCOSE Systems Engineering Professional Certification such as ASEP, CSEP, or ESEP CertificationClearance:Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information;Secret clearance is required.CompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
