At least 5 years of relevant experience, including technical support to energetics, explosives, or weapons-systems programs and project-management oversight for Navy ordnance environmental and explosives-safety programs. Experience may be concurrent.

TRAVEL DETAILS

CONUS travel as required to Navy/customer sites, including Indian Head, Norfolk/Portsmouth, Patuxent River, China Lake, Crane, Pensacola, Fort Worth, Bremerton, St. Louis, San Jose, Orange County, Savannah, Allegany Ballistics Lab, and McAlester. Travel requires Government approval and follows JTR.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide technical support to energetics, explosives, weapons systems, and Navy ordnance environmental/explosives-safety programs.
• Support DoN explosives-safety inspection processes and explosives-safety performance metric tools.
• Maintain related databases and support technical-management and inspection-scheduling improvements.
• Collect data and generate reports and charts from centralized databases and web-based applications.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting, real-time metrics outputs, and timely end-user help-desk support.
• Support system life-cycle requirements analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance.
• Provide knowledgeable support for Microsoft SQL/.NET-based metric tools and prepare technical documentation and presentations.
