Bring your expertise as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to a supportive school-based environment near Des Plaines, IL. This full-time, onsite contract role focuses on directly supporting a small caseload of students—currently five—who need individualized behavioral interventions and guidance. Your specialized skills can make a significant impact, and there’s flexibility for those seeking fewer hours.

This position offers a detailed schedule of 35 hours per week, from 8:20am to 3:20pm, with the contract running through early June 2027. You'll have the opportunity to build meaningful connections, track student progress, and collaborate closely with educators to shape positive outcomes.

Desired Qualifications:

• Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
• Experience working within school settings strongly preferred
• Strong assessment, analysis, and program development skills
• Proven ability to work collaboratively with instructional teams and families
• Compassionate approach to supporting students with diverse needs
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain direct oversight and development of behavior intervention plans
• Monitor and adjust strategies in response to data and student progress
• Conduct assessments and collaborate to set achievable behavioral goals
• Coach and consult with teachers and school personnel on best practices
• Document progress and maintain compliance with state and district regulations
• Participate in meetings with families as part of the student support team
