Position: Kitchen Production – Evening Shift Location: Nashville, TN Job Id: 147 # of Openings: 3 Job Title: Kitchen Production Team Member Department: Production Reports to: Kitchen Assistant Store Manager and Team Lead Classification: Hourly non-exempt Days/Shift: Sunday-Wednesday 2pm-10pm Goo Goo Cluster Kitchen Production Team Members work under the direct supervision of the Assistant Kitchen Store Manager and Production Team Lead. The ideal candidate prepares, assembles, and packages chocolate food products in a fast‑paced kitchen environment while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and cleanliness. This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently. People: Provide a pleasant and memorable experience to each guest personally representing Goo Goo Cluster’s Core Values and Purpose. Assist in providing an optimal guest experience including classes/events and overall day‑to‑day operations. Ensure that “Design Your Own” experiences are delivered to the highest standards while making each interaction feel unique. Excite guests about their custom creations by demonstrating a passion for chocolate production, clean working methodology and holding yourself to a high‑quality standard. Contribute to both individual and team targets set by the ASM and Team Lead. Attend all training/informative sessions aimed at improving and reinforcing knowledge and understanding of company operations. Demonstrate the ability to work with other team members and communicate effectively with a positive and patient attitude. Take initiative in assisting other team members when necessary, including classes/events, “Design Your Own” operations, and running registers when needed during store operation hours. Provide integrity, honesty, and knowledge that promotes the culture values, and purpose of Goo Goo Cluster. Be a brand ambassador for Goo Goo Cluster by answering questions regarding the product, history, and encourage knowledge sharing no matter the audience. Operations: Able to problem solve and use critical thinking when obstacles arise and able to plan, coordinate and execute production with limited supervision. Ensure the efficient daily set up of workstations and equipment, as well as the end of the day general cleaning and monthly deep cleaning duties. Monitor quality control of all products and ingredients by following recipes and instructions, maintaining proper date‑coding procedures, inventory, stock rotation, and proper receiving and storing of delivered goods. Ensure that all production conforms to health, food safety, and hygiene standards set by Goo Goo Chocolate Co. Demonstrate the ability to meet physical requirements including standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, lifting items to 50 pounds, and other physical activities. Use safe work practices to eliminate slips, trips and falls. Never operate equipment without proper training and knowledge and notify Kitchen ASM or Team Lead immediately of any damaged equipment, hazardous conditions, or unsafe behavior. Requirements: Must have or obtain TABC server permit and Food Handlers Permit within 30 days of employment. Ability to follow and execute recipes. Basic mathematics, recipe measurement calculations and data entry capabilities are essential to be successful in this position. Ability to lift to 50lbs.
