Warehouse Associate

Summary The Warehouse Associate is in charge of loading & unloading materials utilizing a hand truck, reach truck, or forklift. They are to maintain a clean and safe work environment and identify any discrepancies in receiving loads against manifest. Essential Functions Utilize manifest to pull route, stage freight, and assist drivers to load and unload trucks Perform material handling activities including picking, packing, scanning, kitting (as applicable), counting products and other related duties Ensure timeliness, packaging accuracy, and system completion accuracy Identify and annotate overages, shortages, and damages (OS&D) Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment Read and follow detailed and defined instructions in a fast‑paced environment Ensure a safe and secure work environment in compliance with TSA and OSHA guidelines Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Competencies Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and use banding/shrink wrap material Experience using an RF scan gun (required) Previous forklift certifications preferred Work overtime, occasional weekends as needed Read and comprehend work instructions well Work well with others with little supervision High attention to detail Lift 50+ lbs unassisted Speak, read, and write in English Education High School or equivalent (required) Experience Previous warehouse experience preferred (1 year) Physical Requirements This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, bending, and lifting objects up to 50 lbs unassisted. Employees must frequently use pallet jacks and forklifts. Pay Range Pay Range: $20.00 - $21.50 hourly. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
