Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk for the 2nd shift to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing the accurate and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. Your energetic approach will ensure smooth shipping logistics, proper inventory management, and seamless order fulfillment. Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages or discrepancies
• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
• Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely to load and unload trucks and move stock within the warehouse
• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP systems such as AS400 or similar platforms, ensuring stock levels are current
• Ensure compliance with trade regulations and shipping documentation requirements for domestic and international shipments
• Assist in organizing warehouse distribution activities, including stocking shelves and preparing orders for shipment
• Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse processes, improve efficiency, and uphold safety standards

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations, shipping & receiving, or related roles with a focus on order fulfillment and logistics
• Valid forklift certification and experience operating reach trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP platforms like AS400, and RF scanners for inventory control
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipment quantities accurately
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance procedures is a plus
• Ability to work efficiently on the 2nd shift in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude to support collaborative warehouse functions
