Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Architect to lead the architecture, design, and technical delivery of enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud, along with strong expertise in Salesforce platform architecture, integrations, data, security, and enterprise-scale implementations. This role will provide technical leadership to the Salesforce team, establish architectural standards and best practices, and work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, enterprise architects, integration teams, and other technology groups to deliver scalable and secure Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Salesforce solution architecture and provide technical direction for enterprise implementations.
• Lead and mentor Salesforce developers, administrators, and technical team members.
• Design scalable Salesforce solutions across Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Experience Cloud.
• Translate business requirements into robust Salesforce architecture and technical solutions.
• Define Salesforce application, data, integration, security, and deployment architecture.
• Determine when to use standard Salesforce capabilities, configuration, declarative automation, or custom development.
• Establish Salesforce development standards, architecture principles, and best practices.
• Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware, and event-driven architectures.
• Provide guidance on Salesforce data modeling, data migration, data quality, and data governance.
• Design Salesforce security and access models, including sharing rules, roles, profiles, permission sets, and field-level security.
• Provide technical guidance on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, SOQL, and Salesforce APIs.
• Partner with enterprise architecture, data, integration, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Support technical design reviews, architecture decisions, solution estimation, and implementation planning.
• Establish and support Salesforce CI/CD, DevOps, source control, and deployment practices.
• Identify technical risks, scalability issues, and opportunities for platform optimization.
• Ensure solutions follow Salesforce best practices and enterprise security and compliance standards.
• Participate in technical interviews, hiring, mentoring, and development of Salesforce team members.

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, architecture, or technical leadership.
• 5+ years of experience working in a Salesforce Architect or Senior Technical Lead capacity.
• Proven experience leading Salesforce teams and large-scale enterprise implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with multiple Salesforce clouds, including:
• Health Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Sales Cloud
• Experience Cloud
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce platform architecture and best practices.
• Strong experience with Salesforce data modeling, security, integrations, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Apex
• Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Salesforce Flow
• SOQL
• Salesforce APIs
• Platform Events
• Strong understanding of enterprise integration patterns and API architecture.
• Experience with middleware platforms such as MuleSoft or similar technologies.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, source control, and deployment strategies.
• Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect.
• Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or progress toward CTA.
• Health Cloud Consultant certification.
• Service Cloud Consultant certification.
• Sales Cloud Consultant certification.
• Experience working in healthcare, financial services, government, or other regulated industries.
• Experience with cloud platforms and enterprise data platforms.
• Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards such as FHIR.
• Experience with enterprise data integration and modernization initiatives.

Compensation: The expected compensation range for this position is $140,000 - $180,000 annually. Compensation is determined in good faith and may vary based on job-related factors, including relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, clearance level, labor category alignment, contract requirements, work location, internal equity, and business needs. The posted range reflects the Sky's reasonable estimate at the time of posting and does not guarantee a specific salary or rate. Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's qualifications and applicable contractual and business considerations.
