Key Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy license
• Experience in a school setting (preferred)
• Strong understanding of pediatric physical therapy principles
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Commitment to supporting diverse student populations

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students’ physical therapy needs within the school setting
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized therapy plans in collaboration with teachers, parents, and educational staff
• Deliver direct and consultative physical therapy services to students, ensuring integration into their educational programs
• Accurately document progress, maintain thorough records, and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Provide guidance and training to school personnel and families to enhance students’ functional mobility and safety
• Adapt approaches and interventions to meet a variety of student needs and abilities
