This contract position offers a flexible schedule—approximately 10 hours per month, typically spread over five visits at 2 hours each, with opportunities to adjust frequency and session length based on student needs and your professional assessment.

Your expertise will directly support students’ growth, well-being, and participation in daily school activities. As you collaborate with educators and families, your input will shape IEPs and help design effective interventions, ensuring every student can thrive.

Desired Experience and Skills:

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, support staff, and families
• Ability to assess student needs and develop individualized treatment plans
• Reliability, flexibility, and a collaborative mindset

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver physical therapy services to students according to their IEPs or designated plans
• Evaluate students’ mobility, motor skills, and functional abilities within the school environment
• Recommend adaptive equipment or environmental modifications as needed
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and interventions
• Collaborate with special education teams, providing input on student goals and accommodations
