Investment Operations SpecialistLocation: Columbus, Ohio (in office)Compensation Range: $72,000 – 78,000, commensurate with experience and qualificationsWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Investment Operations Specialist to support our investment sales team and broader asset liability operations. This role plays a critical part in delivering high-quality fixed income offerings, including certificates of deposit and securities, through market research, trade support, and data management.In this position, you will help facilitate the execution and delivery of tailored investment solutions by maintaining offering materials, analyzing market trends, supporting trade processing, and ensuring accurate documentation. You'll collaborate closely with internal partners across sales, marketing, compliance, and operations, contributing to both client-facing initiatives and behind-the-scenes processes that drive successful outcomes.This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in fixed income markets who enjoys balancing analytical work, operational support, and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.What You'll Do:Update daily offering sheets for SimpliCD (Certificates of Deposit) and investment securities for internal and external distributionDeliver tailored securities offerings using market research and analysisAssist in executing securities transactions and ensure accurate settlement and documentation (with appropriate licensure)Serve as backup for client support via phone or email when investment sales team members are unavailableMaintain Salesforce records, investment databases, and documentationSupport Asset Liability Management operations, including rate administration and security safekeepingAssist with proposal generation, performance modeling, and presentationsCollaborate with marketing and compliance teams on outreach and regulatory documentationPerform other duties and projects as assignedWhat a Typical Day Looks Like:You'll balance market research, trade support, and internal collaboration with the investment team, while providing behind-the-scenes support that helps drive client success. While this role is primarily focused on operational and analytical tasks, you may occasionally assist clients over the phone as backup to the investment sales team. It's ideal for someone who enjoys variety, being analytical, solving problems, and contributing to outcomes both independently and as part of a team.What We're Looking For:Strong understanding of fixed income markets and institutional investment strategiesProficiency in Bloomberg and SalesforceExperience analyzing market data and supporting investment salesFinancial modeling or portfolio analysis experienceExcellent communication, organizational, and analytical skillsAbility to work independently and remotely with minimal supervisionExperience in B2B sales or client relationship managementUnderstanding of regulatory requirements related to securities transactionsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years in investments or financial servicesKnowledge of fixed income instruments (CDs, bonds)Series 7 and 63 preferred; support for licensure availableStrong Microsoft Office skills, especially ExcelAbout Corporate One:Corporate One is a leading wholesale financial services provider to more than 700 credit unions nationwide.
