**Candidates must already be local to Tallahassee, or within commuting distance**
**work hours between 7:00 AM & 7:00 PM, after hours, weekends, and either on a rotation or as part of a regular and on-call work schedule**

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or similar, 5-8 years of experience with systems engineering, 3-5 years of experience with infrastructure environments, 2-3 years of experience with the following skills: Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022, IIS Administration, network communications including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing.
Preferred: Microsoft Azure, AWS, GCP, Microsoft software administration, middleware support


Job Description
We are looking for a Systems Administrator to assist our client in overseeing and managing cloud services and platforms

What You'll Do

• Assist in oversight, management, troubleshooting, and execution of cloud services and platforms to support infrastructure, applications, data, and business needs
• Add and remove individuals from the list of authorized users, archive files, oversee password protection and other security measures, and monitor usage of shared resources
• Architect, design, facilitate, lead, coordinate, and direct technology initiatives across multiple areas within the organization
• Manage infrastructure administration, application development, data management & analytics, cybersecurity, external hosting, identity and access management, infrastructure, network, security hardening, privacy, and compliance
• Oversee and manage Microsoft 365 environments and other Microsoft platforms, identity platforms, and a multi-cloud environment
• Select, develop, integrate, and implement network management applications for Internet components
• Work on projects, systems, and issues of medium to high complexity, providing daily operations support, maintenance, and administration for servers
• Take ownership of complex issues to support Department business

What You'll Need
Required:

• Must reside in Tallahassee or the surrounding area and report to the office 5 days a week
• Flexibility to work hours between 7:00 AM & 7:00 PM, after hours, weekends, and either on a rotation or as part of a regular and on-call work schedule
• Bachelor's Degree or technical institute degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 2-3 years of experience with Server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, and 2022
• 2-3 years of IIS Administration
• 2-3 years of experience with network communications, including TCP/IP and DNS Samba/CIFS file sharing and NTFS permissions
• 3-5 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments in systems operations, support, maintenance, and administration
• 5-8 years of professional experience in information systems engineering or another related field

Preferred:

• Strong professional experience in Microsoft Azure cloud systems
• Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
• Professional experience in the administration of Microsoft software
• Professional experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services
