EXPERIENCED BREAKFAST COOK WANTED
We are looking for an experienced, dependable cook to join our busy diner.
Previous restaurant cooking experience is REQUIRED. We are looking for someone who can step into a fast-paced kitchen, work efficiently, and handle multiple orders at once while maintaining quality and consistency.
Responsibilities
- Prepare breakfast and lunch/diner-style menu items
- Work the grill, flat-top and fryer
- Cook eggs, breakfast meats, pancakes, French toast, burgers, sandwiches and other diner favorites
- Handle multiple tickets and orders during busy rushes
- Follow recipes, portions and presentation standards
- Prep ingredients and keep your station stocked
- Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work area
- Work well with servers and other kitchen staff
Requirements
- Restaurant cooking experience is a MUST
- Experience working a grill/flat-top strongly preferred
- Must be comfortable in a busy, fast-paced kitchen
- Must be dependable and show up on time
- Must be able to multitask and work quickly without sacrificing food quality
- Must understand basic food safety and kitchen sanitation
- Must be a team player with a good attitude
We are looking for an experienced cook — this is not an entry-level position.
