What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care to general medical inpatients on a 32-bed unit
- Monitor and assess patients with a variety of diagnoses including respiratory, neurological, gastrointestinal, and musculoskeletal conditions
- Assist with complex patient care, including dialysis and infection management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute patient care plans
- Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during 12-hour shifts
- Support float requirements across post-surgical and med-surg inpatient floors
What You Need
- Active Kansas or Multistate RN license (no hits allowed)
- BLS certification (AHA)
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care medical-surgical experience
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to float across different inpatient floors
