Schedule
This assignment offers a balanced blend of clinic, surgical, and inpatient responsibilities.
Typical schedule includes:

• 2–3 clinic days per week
• Call rotation on remaining scheduled days
• Post-call mornings may include clinic or operating room responsibilities
• Approximately 1:6 call rotation

Clinic call is initially triaged through the health system's centralized nurse call service, allowing physicians to focus on clinically appropriate patient care.

Clinical Scope
Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care across both outpatient and inpatient settings, including:

• Preventive and routine gynecologic care
• Obstetric management
• Labor and delivery coverage
• Cesarean deliveries
• Gynecologic surgery
• Dilation & Curettage (D&C)
• Laparoscopic gynecologic procedures
• Emergency department consultations
• Obstetric and gynecologic consultations
• Evaluation of patient transfers requiring higher levels of obstetric care

Physicians should be comfortable practicing the full breadth of general OB/GYN.

Patient Volume
Outpatient clinic averages:

• Approximately 25–30 patients per clinic day

This established practice offers a consistent patient panel while maintaining strong clinical support throughout the workday.

Candidate Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN
• Active Kansas medical license (or ability to obtain)
