Subject Matter Expert, Event Driven Trading Our client, a quant trading startup, is building machine learning models to automate what discretionary traders do. The team includes highly technical ML Engineers. Now they want someone who has lived and breathed event trading to help teach the machines how real traders think. You will not run a book. You will not be responsible for P&L. Instead, you’ll turn trading intuition into structure: playbooks, patterns, and reasoning around M&A, spin-offs, shareholder votes, earnings events, and special situations. The ML team will then build on what you define.
