Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Profession: Nursing Specialty: Long-Term Care (LTC) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 on, 2 off Hours per Shift: 8 hours (2:30 PM - 10:30 PM) Experience: Previous long-term care experience, preferred. Previous working knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR), preferred. Medication passing experience, preferred. License: Current Certified Nursing Aide license in good standing, required. Certifications: Current CPR and First Aid Certification required. Certification of Nurse Delegation for Nursing Assistants required. Certification of Dementia Specialty Training, Mental Health Specialty Training, and Developmental Disabilities Specialty Training required upon hire. Must-Have: Minimum of 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED required. Initiate background checks upon start date with the facility. N95 mask fitting using approved masks required. TB Testing required as stipulated in relevant regulations. Three references needed.

Description: Provides vital support to both patients and nurses. Assists with the transport of patients and helps with daily living activities. Provides medication assistance and conducts safety checks. Helps oversee the safety of residents and facilitates social-emotional support. Enhances resident outcomes.
