Receptionist

Job TitleThis position greets visitors, answers a multi-line phone system, and directs calls to appropriate department/personnel. Creates an environment that promotes a feeling of importance in every customer. Will perform the following tasks in a way that reflects H&R Agri-Power's mission to provide quality products/service at a fair price to afford a reasonable return on assets.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Answer phones in a courteous and polite manner, direct to the appropriate department/personnel as needed.Greet incoming customers with a smile and escort to the appropriate department.Pay close attention to customer's needs and take reasonable measurements to ensure complete satisfaction.Receive USPS mail; sort and distribute appropriately.Maintain and file documents and invoices.Regularly operate standard office equipment (ex. Fax machine, copier)Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area and sales floor.Maintain a positive, professional, and safe work environment by interacting with customers, peers, management and support resources in a way that promotes teamwork and a commitment to excellence.Complete all other tasks as assigned by leadership.Requirements:High School Diploma or Equivalent.1+ years in customer service.Familiar with working on a computer for work-related purposes.Familiarity with farm equipment/agriculture a plus, but not a requirement.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Strong interpersonal skills.Exceptional written and oral communication skills.Effective listening and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.First-rate organizational skills.Basic computer skills.Able and willing to work in a team setting.Become and remain flexible to various job tasks.Possess a customer focused mindset.Physical Requirements:Able to sit for long periods of time.Able to hear clearly over the phone or in-person.Able to move around building and grounds.
