Part time Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) - Part-Time (W2 Only) Position Overview Our client is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to provide laboratory oversight and ensure compliance with CLIA regulations. This is a part-time, onsite W2 position located in San Leandro, California. This is not a contract, hybrid, remote, or full-time role. Minimum Qualifications Active California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License issued by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) - Laboratory Field Services (LFS) Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Physical, or Biological Science Completion of the California State Law Quiz on Laboratory Regulations No prior experience required One (1) year of Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience is preferred Key Responsibilities Oversee and review CLIA-waived testing procedures Perform quality control (QC), instrument calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of point-of-care and rapid diagnostic equipment Train, assess, and document competency of Medical Assistants and other staff performing waived testing Ensure compliance with CLIA, CDPH, and laboratory quality standards Conduct periodic on-site audits, workflow validations, and regulatory compliance reviews Maintain accurate laboratory documentation and quality records Part-Time: 10-15 hours per week Employment Type: W2 Employee Work Location: Onsite in San Leandro, CA #J-18808-Ljbffr Tech Health Connect
