Role Description

The Director of Merchandising & Field Execution plays a key role in bringing company strategy to life across all store locations. This leader is responsible for driving strong, consistent in-store execution while supporting teams in delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Reporting directly to the President, this role partners closely with Operations and Human Resources leadership to strengthen sales performance, improve margins, and reduce shrink—while building engaged, capable teams.

This is a highly field-focused role, working side-by-side with Store Directors, department managers, and supervisors to elevate standards, develop talent, and create consistency across locations. Qualifications

• Experience in Store Design and Retail Design, with the ability to translate brand and marketing strategies into compelling in-store environments.
• Proficiency in creating impactful Window Displays and in-store feature presentations that drive traffic and highlight key products.
• Strong Project Management skills to plan, prioritize, and execute visual merchandising initiatives across multiple locations and deadlines.
• Background in Retail operations, with an understanding of grocery or supermarket environments and customer shopping behaviors.
• Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching and influencing cross-functional and in-store teams.
• Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and a focus on results.
• Comfort working on-site in stores, including periodic evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Visual Merchandising, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
