Job Title: Utilization Management Specialist Profession: Nursing Specialty: Utilization Management Duration: Permanent Shift: Monday through Friday Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with every fifth weekend rotation Experience: 2 years of experience required, experience with providers required License: RN license required Certifications: CCM/CMCN required Must-Have: EMR experience, specifically with Epic; experience with UM tool Dragonfly; prior travel experience preferred; must be computer literate; must have some remote work experience; degree accreditation verification required or 5 years of experience Description: This position involves utilization management within a healthcare setting. Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience, particularly with provider interactions. CCM or CMCN certification is a requirement. Experience with the electronic medical record (EMR) system Epic is essential. Familiarity with the utilization management tool Dragonfly is necessary. Travel experience is preferred for this role. The ideal candidate will be computer literate and have experience working remotely. Verification of degree accreditation is required or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is acceptable.
