Duties include: design, deploy, maintain, and improve cloud-based IT solutions, and lead cloud initiatives while mentoring junior engineers; design, implement and maintain Cloud-based solutions including infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS); manage and monitor Cloud resources to ensure high availability, performance, and security; participate in strategic planning, such as developing new cloud strategies and roadmaps; act as infrastructure engineering representative on engineering teams for the design, development, implementation and/or integration new cloud-based solutions; ensure systems accesses are compliant within company security standards; create, catalog, and maintain technical documentation; diagnose and troubleshoot access related problems and drive platform improvements; support security planning, assessment, risk analysis, and risk management; research industry trends and emerging Cloud technologies, share knowledge with the team, and make recommendations to improve cloud infrastructure; and serve as technical lead on projects. May telecommute from any location in U.S., 100% remote position.
