Project Coordinator

Job Description: Electrical construction contractor focusing on commercial projects Responsibilities Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, documentation, logs, and correspondence in an organized and accessible manner. Track project deliverables, deadlines, and key milestones to help ensure projects remain on schedule. Assist with processing purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and other project-related paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and maintaining meeting notes and action items. Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide project updates and clarify requirements. Support material procurement activities and monitor delivery status to ensure timely availability of project materials. Assist with project reporting and data entry, ensuring information is complete, accurate, and properly formatted. Help prepare closeout documentation and project turnover packages to support successful project completion and handoff. Perform other project support duties as assigned to contribute to the smooth execution of projects. Essential Skills Minimum of 2+ years of experience in project coordination, administrative coordination, operations support, or office management. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage documentation, schedules, records, and project-related information effectively. Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated experience supporting project-based work or coordinating activities across teams. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Madison Heights, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $33.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
