BAE Systems also provides employees with opportunities to engage with and positively impact the internal and external community in which we work.An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated individual to join the Integrated Survivability Solutions (ISS) Product Line within the Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) Business Area of BAE Systems Aerospace and Mission Systems (AMS) Segment. This candidate would serve as the finance lead for the SALT sustainment programs in the lasers portfolio (Optics and Countermeasures (OCM) program area). In addition, this individual will be responsible for the Multi-Class Soft Kill System (MCSKS) development program which also falls in our laser portfolio. This individual will be responsible for the financial execution and analysis including planning and baseline integrity, internal reporting, Earned Value Management, compliance and financial salient forecasting. The candidate will be expected to provide financial support, expertise, and guidance to program managers and control account managers. The individual will work cross-functionally to provide value-added data analysis and recommendations to support program team decisions. This opportunity offers the employee line of sight into the broader lasers portfolio and an opportunity to work closely with the program area leadership. This role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, therefore, it will be conducted in a hybrid work format with time split between working onsite and remotely. To be considered for this opportunity, applicants must either currently reside within a reasonable daily commute of our offices in Merrimack, NH, or be willing to relocate to the area at their own expense. Full-time remote is not an option for this particular role.Responsibilities:Supporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting requirementsSupport the development, review and presentation of financial forecasts, including the Operating Plan, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and the long-term Integrated Business Plan (IBP)Through pricing basis of estimates, and preparing request for bid approvals (RBA)Reporting & presenting financials to managementServing as a full business partner to the program teamsWorking with the contracts function for funding, billings, and other contractual itemsCreating and influencing program baselines through earned value managementDeveloping and monitoring program risks and opportunitiesDeveloping financial forecasts and analyzing estimates at completionCoordinating team meetings and reviewsEnsure compliance to internal controls while seeking out opportunities for continuous improvementRequired Education, Experience, & Skills:Typically a Bachelor's Degree and 4 years work experience or equivalent experienceProficiency in Microsoft Office toolsDemonstrated problem solving and in-depth analytical skillsDemonstrated ability to communicate and present financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable mannerStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to prioritize and self-manage a multi-tasked workload in a fast paced environmentAbility to make decisions with sound judgment while complying with policies and proceduresPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills:Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, ProPricer and CobraExperience with project forecasting and analysis, particularly in a US Defense environmentExperience in program finance and/or other finance functional disciplinesExperience with proposalsUnderstanding and knowledge industry practices and standards as well as company policiesPay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $82779 - $140723 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures.
