Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Technical training in CNC machining, manufacturing, or fabrication preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and production drawings Experience Requirements 2-5 years of CNC setup and operation experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or job shop environment Experience operating CNC routers, mills, lathes, plasma cutters, or similar equipment Experience using precision measuring instruments for quality inspections Working knowledge of machine maintenance and troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming Understanding of geometric dimensioning and manufacturing tolerances Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of material optimization and nesting techniques to reduce waste Ability to work independently while maintaining production and quality standards Physical Capabilities Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift Frequently lift, move, and handle materials weighing 50+ pounds Ability to safely operate machinery and power tools Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment while wearing required PPE, including safety glasses and steel-toed boots Job Duties Set up, calibrate, and operate CNC routers, mills, lathes, and other fabrication equipment Read blueprints, CAD/CAM files, and production orders to determine machine settings and tool paths Program machine speeds, feeds, and cutting operations to meet production requirements Optimize material layouts to minimize waste and maximize efficiency Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other precision tools Perform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues Monitor raw material inventory and stage completed components for assembly and installation teams Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Benefits Competitive Weekly Pay Comprehensive Benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
