Job Description As a Security Officer Driver Credentialing in Fort Worth, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Security Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will manage visitor and employee access, verify credentials, monitor entry points, and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents while communicating with team members. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Fri 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM; Sat 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM; Sun 07:00 PM - 07:00 AM. What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying visitor, employee, contractor, and driver credentials; maintaining visitor records; and directing authorized personnel to appropriate areas. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership. Conduct regular and random patrols of the business, perimeter, entry points, parking areas, and loading dock areas to help identify security-related concerns. Working environments and conditions may vary by location. Support site operations by helping manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic at designated access points and reporting unauthorized access attempts, damaged access equipment, and/or unusual activity. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
