Location: Mayfield, Kentucky (State Farm office)
Schedule: Part-time
Commitment: Internship, then full time 2–3 years with a clear path toward becoming a State Farm Agent

About the Role

This is not a typical internship. Our Agent Aspirant Intern role is designed for High School & college students who want to learn the business from the inside and build a long-term career with the goal of becoming a State Farm Agent and opening their own office . You will work directly with customers, develop sales and leadership skills, and gain hands-on experience in how an agency operates day to day.

If you enjoy talking with people, solving problems, and want the challenge of entrepreneurship, this is a strong fit.

What You’ll Do

Build relationships with customers by listening, asking questions, and helping identify needs
Learn and support core agency functions including auto, home, life, and financial services conversations
Make outbound calls and follow-ups to support retention and new business growth
Participate in coaching and skill-building sessions focused on sales, service, and leadership
Learn the fundamentals of running an agency: operations, marketing, community involvement, and team culture
Track activity and outcomes in agency systems and help maintain a high level of customer experience
