Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Structured Finance Associate to join its Financial Markets practice in New York. The role involves working on sophisticated structured finance and securitization transactions across various asset classes, representing issuers, investors, and other market participants.
Duties
- Work on structured finance and securitization transactions.
- Draft and negotiate structured finance documentation.
- Represent issuers, investors, and other market participants.
- Collaborate with the Financial Markets practice team.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of experience in structured finance or securitization transactions.
- Experience with drafting and negotiating relevant agreements.
- Familiarity with securitized asset classes.
- Understanding of credit enhancement structures and payment mechanics.
Education
- Superior academic background.
Certifications
- Bar admission in New York.
Skills
- Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Desire for client responsibility and deal management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
