Job Description Shift: AfternoonShift Premium Amount: $2.00Pay Rate: $18.50 Position OverviewThe primary function of the Inspector/Packer is inspecting and packing bags to maintain safety, quality, and productivity standards. Essential Functions & Responsibilities* Responsible for scrap, efficiency, and product quality on product line.* Responsible for inspecting and packing quality bags into box/tote per bag specifications.* Ensure that box/tote counts are accurate as per the bag specification.* Ensure that quality standards are upheld and that any suspect or defective product is reported for review and decision.* Work as a team with others assigned to machine, including helping operators as needed.* Practice 5S, Good House Keeping, and Machine Sanitation per company standards.* Learn to pack all bag specifications and at all machines in production facility.* Complete all documentation completely and accurately.* Assist in the training of other Inspector/Packer personnel.* Other responsibilities and projects as assigned.
